Hi! we’re wia vancouver.

Our mission is to build community for women+ architects and designers in Vancouver and beyond.

Since 1991, WIA has evolved from an advocacy group focused on improving the registration process for working mothers into a broad community supporting education, mentorship, advocacy, and connection. Today, our network includes more than 300 women+ across Vancouver and BC, with members at every stage of their careers.

We’re so excited you’re here. Whether you’re looking to expand your professional network, learn more about allyship in architecture and design, an emerging designer looking for mentorship, an experienced professional ready to give back, or an ally who believes in creating a more inclusive profession, we invite you to be part of our community.
