Join us on January 26th at The Aviary for an evening in conversation with Marianne Amodio.

Marianne launched Marianne Amodio Architecture Studio in June of 2010, working out of her living room before opening the Chinatown studio in 2013. She holds a Masters Degree of Architecture (honours) from the University of Manitoba and is a registered Architect with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia and a LEED Accredited Professional. She is currently the Chair of The City of Vancouver’s Creative Advisory Panel for Housing Innovation and a member of the City of Vancouver Mayor’s Advisory Committee for Housing and the Mayors’ Advisory Committee for Permitting and Process.
The studio’s work has been recently recognized in 2016 with the AIBC Emerging Firm Award and the year before with the Western Living Designers of the Year Arthur Erickson Memorial Award, and the Emerging Design Practice Award from Twenty + Change.

Ms Amodio’s presentation will kick off an evening of conversation. Kate Gerson of DIALOG will lead the discussion to follow. The audience will be encouraged to discourse with Ms Amodio about her work, her professional path and other such relevant questions.

7:30 – 8:30 Moderated discussion with the group
8:30 – 10:00 Social at The Aviary with Marianne in attendance
