WIA – Vancouver’s January Event
We are planning our January 2014 WIA gathering to be held at the UBC School of Architecture, as a good opportunity to particularly reach out to the student community. The program for that evening will be a series of presentations by women working within and around the field of architecture in Vancouver, but each approaching their profession from a different perspective.
Call for Presenters
We are looking for volunteers of approximately 6 women to do a very brief (6-8 minutes each) presentation
of one or some examples of their work. We are hoping to have a broad range of representation from sole practitioner to partner of a larger firm to employees working in a range of firm structures, as well as potentially those teaching architecture, working for the City, working as project managers, etc.

The event will take place at the Lasserre Building, room 202 at UBC on Thursday, January 9th 2014.

** Please understand that if we get too many enthusiastic volunteers, we will have to do some selecting. We will choose on a first come basis, while also looking for a range of points of view.
