This year, WIA is planning an event series to celebrate International Women’s Day. By showcasing design–related work from women+ in the Lower Mainland, we hope to bring inspiration to the next generation of women+ in the field, while strengthening our collective power and influence in our respective professions.

To kick off this dynamic series, we’re hosting a panel discussion from women in leadership, sharing their experiences, stories, and highlighting the importance of women+ representation in leadership across various industries. Expect insightful conversations about overcoming gender biases, the importance of mentorship, and the power of resilience in leadership. Whether you are an aspiring leader or a seasoned professional, this event will provide valuable takeaways on elevating your career, embracing opportunities, and creating lasting change within organizations and communities.

The goals of this event are to:

– Learn how to navigate leadership challenges and create impact.

– Inspire the next generation of women+ to pursue leadership roles

– Create connections and spark conversions between women of different professions and career levels.

– Provide community engagement and networking opportunities.

The format will be presentations followed by a Q&A panel discussion, and a social throughout the rest of the evening.  Presenters are:
