MARCH EVENT | Human Experience Design / Places for Women+
March 8, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
$10
Join us in celebrating International Women’s Day with a workshop on ways to create designs that target the needs of women+. This will be an in-person event, where you will learn about the human experience design methodology and how to develop a user profile/persona which can aid in identifying specific user needs, and informs design solutions addressing these needs. We will use group work and a structured human experience design approach to understand the problems that women+ can face in different environments, drawing on participants’ input. At the workshop completion, we hope you will be able to apply the persona concept in practice as a powerful tool that enriches the design process and outcomes.
Here are some questions to get you started:
- What do women need in a physical work space?
- Do our “common” playgrounds support all styles of play?
- What type of physical features do you use in a green urban space?
