AUGUST EVENT | Robson Square Revisited Webinar & Site Tour

Join WIA in revisiting the iconic Robson Square project with Eva Matsuzaki for a webinar, and site tour followed by our summer social. Robson Square Revisited will be hosted by Eva Matsuzaki, a founding member of Women in Architecture (WIA), and the first woman president of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC). She was an associate at Arthur Erickson Architects from 1974–1984 where she was the design coordinator for Robson Square.
Please join WIA for the site tour and webinar, or just webinar, to learn more about the landmark civic centre and public plaza located in Downtown Vancouver.
Following the site tour WIA will be hosting a summer social with snacks and light refreshments in the public plaza.

Where: Robson Square, 850 West Georgia Street, Vancouver — see site tour meeting spot on the Vancouver Art Gallery steps in the šxʷƛ̓ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square (formerly Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza). Look for the yellow WIA umbrellas

Admission: $10 for webinar (details above) and site tour. Pre-registration is mandatory due to limited capacity, please register through Eventbrite. If you register and can no longer attend, please email us at [email protected] so we can reallocate your spot

Summer Social: Around 7pm (approx.), after the site tour, we’ll be hosting our summer social on the Howe St side of Robson Square, in between Robson St and Smithe St, up one level from street level. See summer social meeting spot, look for the yellow WIA umbrellas
