Join us on the evening of December 12th for our “Winter Social” event to meet each other, enjoy the music, drinks and snacks, and share the holiday spirit.
Our keynote speaker for the evening is Heather Deal. An English-born Canadian biologist and politician. She served as a Vancouver city councillor until 2018, first elected as a member of Vision Vancouver in 2005. She previously served as a Vancouver Parks Board commissioner for the 2002 to 2005 term as a member of Coalition of Progressive Electors. Heather is currently the Director of Adult and Workplace Learning at Decoda Literacy Solutions, an organization that assesses and addresses learning needs across the province. She is also a voting member and one of the four Lieutenant Governor (LG) appointees in the AIBC Council.
Beverages and snacks will be provided.
