Site Tour – New Westminster Anvil Centre and Office Tower
About the Anvil Centre & Office tower: This facility will mark the gateway to New Westminster’s downtown. It will be four stories and over 95,000 square feet, including conference and meeting facilities, a 350-seat theatre, civic art gallery, the City’s Museum and Archives, and the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Above the civic facility will be a nine storey, 139,000 square foot office building named Merchant Square. The project includes a 265 car below grade parkade. The entire project is designed to meet LEED Gold standards for energy efficient and environmentally sustainable design.
This signature, gateway building promises a culturally rich future for the City. The design of this project is a collaboration of Hughes Condon Marler Architects and MCM Interiors.
**This is an active construction site and a visitor safety orientation will be provided.
**You are required to bring/wear steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses and safety vest. You will not be able to enter if you are missing any one of these items.
Meet at the PCL Constructors Site Trailer at 777 Columbia Street.
The site is adjacent to the New Westminster Skytrain Station.
Pay parking is available on the street or adjacent parking lots.
