SEPTEMBER EVENT | THE NORTH VANCOUVER SHIPYARDS SITE TOUR

You are invited on a site tour of the North Vancouver Shipyards, designed by DIALOG.

The Shipyards project is at the center of the redevelopment of the historic industrial Wallace Shipyards in North Vancouver. It will operate as the civic hub of the precinct by providing new waterfront public spaces, cultural amenities, and commercial venues. The master plan for the 1.5 acre site integrates heritage structures with new buildings and aims to provide a variety of spaces and programming options to support a socially and economically diverse population. The dynamic public space is designed to accommodate a variety of special events and will include a water play area in the summer and an outdoor ice rink in the winter. It stitches together a section of the spirit trail waterfront path and makes the most of the multi-modal transit connections on land and sea.

On the tour, we will see the building mid-construction and have the opportunity to learn about the realisation of this significant piece of North Vancouver’s waterfront.
